How can I disable the find bar?

How can I “disable” the find bar?

“How can I disable the find bar” – This should be a relatively easy solution to locate using any search engine.  However, it took me more time than it should have to find the solution that worked for me.

I was doing my early morning work on my desktop PC as usual, when I started noticing this super annoying issue of the find bar kept popping up in my Google Chrome Browser.  I checked to see if the same issue would occur in a Microsoft Edge – it did.

I immediately did a scan with my anti-virus software.  Nothing.

I did a search via DuckDuck Go  for “how can I disable the find bar in Google Chrome” and this was the first result:

This lead to a very long post of comments, advice, and suggestions, and “This question is locked and replying has been disabled.”

I scanned through a couple years worth of comments and eventually found the solution that worked for me:

I found today that the Logitech keyboard batteries needed changing.  Although the keyboard was working, the find bar kept opening when I tried to type anything.  When I put in new batteries, the problem stopped.
Yes it’s the batteries.  Change them and all is healed.
Wow! Sure enough, it was changing the batteries in the Logitech. Holy cow has this been a nightmare, but now its fixed. Thanks for everyone’s help!

I use a Logitech wireless keyboard, Model G613.

I replace the two AA batteries and the issue magically disappeared.
