Paul NEWT holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Promotion from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, with concentrations in Psychology and Industrial Technology (Engineering). Paul holds certifications in Nutrition, Strength and Mass Development, Periodization (systematic manipulation of loading parameters over time), Shoulder and Knee Rehabilitation, Strength and Loading Parameters, the Olympic Lifts (Snatch, Clean & Jerk), and additional certifications in related fields of study. He has taught and written on a wide variety of health topics for over 20 years, including teaching and designing curriculum in Health Education and Physical Education in the public school system. With over 30 years of experience in designing eating and exercise programs, Paul has also competed, and won, contests in Bodybuilding, Powerlifting, and Weightlifting (Snatch, Clean and Jerk). With 2023 marking Paul’s 28th year as a self-employed entrepreneur, his current focus is on building the community at Edge 24 Hour Private Fitness, and delivering the highest quality personal training and coaching to his private clients, using a multi-disciplinary approach, to yield the most dramatic improvements in health, appearance, and performance. Paul believes that the right training (exercise and eating) program can make you happier and more productive now, ward off many health problems that may loom in one’s future, and bring you back from the abyss after a catastrophic life event.
